Johnnie come lately to the worship leading side of things, although in some ways I've done it off an on since I became a believer in '72. I tended to discount it, but lead for worship in college, on mission trips, home groups, prayer groups. Weirdly, I've never been crazy about being in front of people, tending to prefer a background role.
Yet still...something about leading worship just does not leave me alone. I try to walk away from it to focus on other things, but it will not let me go. My deepest desire is to see people open up to the Lord in new ways and become completely enamored of Him.
