Hi Chris – Thanks for the friendship. I love the song “You’ve Made Us Free” and I’ll take you up on singing it in our Church. Don’t have any music posted yet but I have a few melodies floating around in my head. I believe that someday God will provide the lyrics.

Thanks for listening and commenting on my songs. I appreciate the kind, encouraging and thoughtful comments you gave. And thanks for sharing your songs. I like “You’ve Made Us Free” — it has a catchy tune and interesting lyrics. I think it is really good. “You Are Holy” strikes me as a bit too abstract. The lyrics are right on theologically, but the divine attributes could be made more accessible by being grounded in more concrete images. I think it works musically as a kind of meditative thing, but I’d like something a bit more melodic, especially for use with my congregation. On both, I am impressed with the musicality and production quality. I wish I could make my songs sound as good! Keep up the good work!

Hey Chris, I really enjoyed the worshipfullness of ‘You are Holy’. It’s always nice to tarry before the Lord, as we review His attributes, and agree with the inerrant Word of God. Thanks, for your gifts that you are using for the Lord Soli Deo Gloria, Mark

You Are Holy is a great song wouldn’t change a thing. But I can imagine You’ve Made Us Free with a little Blues Slide Guitar, Bass and some Jazz drum. Great lyrics equals Great Message, and you’ve done that with both songs. And the message is the most important part when sharing the Good News about our Lord. Keep up the great work. D

Wow, Chris. Where do I start? First, by any chance are you looking to collaborate with a lyricist to finish your Work In Process? If so, I would love the opportunity to share some ideas with you. Second, I have to say that “You Are Holy” is Pure Unadulterated Worship. Your heart for Him is crystal clear and this is very well portrayed in your presentation of the song without adding a ton of extra stuff that didn’t really need to be there. It must have been very tempting to add some lush strings in there! God Bless and Keep on Praisin’ Tony Gardner, Founder New Creation Music

Hey Chris, Thanks for asking my opinion. I feel like small potatoes around here. Your music sounds great I love songs that sing to God, yes Lord You are Holy. I realy believe that God loves to hear his people exclaim it and proclaim it! I wish I had that kind of sound production you are getting in that song. Keep up the good work for the LORD!
