About Circle Of Strings

I'm pretty much a visual learner. Show me a song on your guitar and after a bit of practice (who knows how long?), I can usually play it. For the past 10 years I've been meeting with fellow visual learners and picking up new worship songs, new chords, and having a blast. I have and will continue to post a bunch of worship songs showing the fretboard on godtube.com/guitarworship. This is a great tool. Enjoy...

I've also posted a song sung by a young 13 year old lead worshipper. “One True God”. Cool song, lots of energy, seems like people pick it up pretty easily.

Here's a link to the song "The Rest Of My Days" posted below. This song is really easly to play and lots of fun. It gives the band lots of room to groove.

It would be cool to get you feedback on some of my music as well. Thanks!!!
peace...     craig

Hi Craig! Thanks for the cyberconnection! My 15-month-old son enjoys One True God on the Kids’ SongDiscovery CD… Cool vibe on the other song, too! I pray that God will continue to bless you with new music for His glory. Stay blessed, Petri

Listened to the song — liked how you blend a Gospel style into it. I am looking for what I think of as “cultural hybrid” music for church. I desire to see the body of Christ present a unity to the world that they can see. In our area, there seems to be a dividing line regarding musical cultures, so that is why I try to find songs that have at least two cultures blended into them. My hope is that by blending the different musical styles together, we can help create more diversified churches. Do you write in that style often? And do you have your words and chords written down for us so we can “easily” use your song? And do you have a CCLI number for it? Blessings, Pat

What a cool way to learn songs. Like the “by eye” concept. Blessings, Pat Kashtock

Nice groove on the song, definitely sense the joy of the Lord. It reminds me of a friend I used to lead worship with…kind of his style on the guitar. I guess that means I should give him a call and see how he is doing. Anyway, I loved the song. We’ll talk more around the community hopefully.

Thanks for the friend request. I look forward to learning more about your ‘strings’ as I cannot read music and learn just by knowing where the chords are, but have learnt many songs by watching other guitarist and then copying finger placement. I say, “whatever works”!! God bless!!
